Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the dime mobile application ("App") operated by rohe technik OÜ, a company registered in the Republic of Estonia ("we", "us", "our"). By using dime, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using dime, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and rohe technik OÜ.

2. Description of Service

dime is an AI-powered voice keyboard for iOS that converts spoken words into written text. The App provides voice-to-text transcription, AI-assisted text refinement, voice notes, and related features. The key characteristics of the service are described on our website and App Store listing.

3. User Accounts

Some features of dime may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

dime offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple's in-app purchase system. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).

Free trial: If offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled. You will be notified before any charges occur.

5. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU. However, by beginning to use a digital content subscription (such as dime Pro), you acknowledge that you may lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been delivered. Refund requests for in-app purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use dime to generate, transmit, or store content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by applicable law. You agree not to use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or networks.

7. Intellectual Property

The dime App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by rohe technik OÜ and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of any content you create using dime. We do not claim any ownership or license over your transcriptions, notes, or other user-generated content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, dime is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that transcriptions will be 100% accurate, that the App will operate without interruption or error, or that AI-generated text refinements will be perfect — they are suggestions and should be reviewed before use. This disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, rohe technik OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of dime. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Estonian data protection law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to dime for material violation of these Terms, provided we give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy the violation where practicable. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, but provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree with the changes, you may stop using the App before the changes take effect. Continued use of dime after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of consumer protection law in your country of residence. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Estonia, without prejudice to your right as an EU consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
